The first Samurai dojo opened in Cape Town in 1969. Shihan Chris Thompson’s vision was to create a traditional karate dojo dedicated to effective and effortless Karate training and the cultivation of a strong Budo community – locally and worldwide. Today, that legacy continues to thrive, with students of all ages and backgrounds carrying forward his vision and reaping the lifelong benefits of Karate.
